When routines are repeated too frequently, two things tend to happen: 1) Your body may plateau because it becomes too familiar with the program you're following; 2) You may lose enthusiasm for exercising which will delay the achievement of your goals.
With such a wide variety of programs to choose from, you'll look forward to your treadmill workouts. Choose a different program with every session to keep your body and mind refreshed. Each is customizable to meet your own personal fitness level.
- Program One - Manual: Just press start and begin your workout.
- Program Two - Target Distance: This program gives you the flexibility to select your distance in either miles or kilometers. The machine will count down while you adjust your speed and incline manually.
- Program Three - Target Time: Users can set time to count up or count down from a pre-specified, manually adjustable program.
- Program Four - Target Calories: Simply enter the number of calories you want to burn and begin. Adjust the speed and incline level at any time to meet your needs.
- Program Five - 15 Minute Pike's Peak: After a short warm-up, the SX4 will progressively increase the speed to a peak speed in the middle of the program and begin to taper down to a one-minute cooldown at the end. There are five levels of intensity to choose from.
- Program Six - 30 Minute Diamond Head: After a short warm-up, the SX4 will progressively increase the speed to a peak speed and hold that speed based on the level (1-5) you have selected. The program will very slowly lower the speed until it reaches the two-minute cooldown.
- Program Seven - 45 Minute speed intervals: This is the perfect cardiovascular training program for athletes, fitness enthusiasts or those looking to lose weight. Select your level (1-5) and the SX4 will alternately increase and decrease the speed.
