Programs:

• Quick Start/Manual Program: On the quick start/manual program, you can alter the speed or incline at your preference at anytime during the Smooth 9.45ST workout for a customizable routine.
• Killer Hills: On the killer hills program, choose your workout level (1-12) and adjust the level of incline during the workout. A preset time of 24 minutes is programmed with the option to adjust the length of the program up to a maximum of 96 minutes. An increase/decrease in incline occurs every two minutes with this program.
• Interval Speed Program: Just like the interval incline program, only you optimize your Smooth 9.45ST treadmill workout through a variation of speed.
• Weight Loss Program: The weight loss program combines variations in both the speed and incline to provide the maximum results in weight loss and calories burned. Choose your workout level from 1 through 12. The higher the level, the more intense the workout. Both speed and incline will change during the workout to give you the best combination for maximum weight loss.
• Self-Learning/Competition: The Distance LED will show 3 (MILE). For new users, there is a preset speed (2 mph) and incline level program in the computer. You can change the speed and incline levels during your workout. The Distance will count down to zero and then stop.
• Heart Rate Control Program: The heart rate control program consists of a Warm-up, Main Program and Cool Down. The Smooth 9.45ST treadmill determines a preset maximum target heart rate based upon your sex, height, weight and age, or you can adjust it to whatever maximum target workout rate you want. (This should be subject to the user's physical condition and determined after consulting with a physician.) Once you start, the program takes you through a mild warm-up routine, through a powerful workout and through a cool-down phase for a complete cardio program.

What a Beast

"I received my 9.45ST treadmill in Oct. 2011. As I was putting it together I realized this was not your typical treadmill. A little tough to put together, but man what a solid and monstrous treadmill. This treadmill will out do most commercial treadmills. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for quality and durability. Keep up the good work SMOOTH."

"The review is based on the experience so far. Hopefully time will not change the good experience I am having so far with this product. Pros: It feels solid. It is quiet. It includes a good range of programs. Personally, I love the heart monitor. Cons. Not so far, but it may be too early. I have had it for three months so far (used one or two times per week). The only thing (which is very minor, but I care) it is that I can't put my laptop on the panel."

Great workout

"We did a lot of research on treadmills and the 9.45 ST got great reviews for both quality and value. It was a little more money than we had hoped to spend. But, we feel that it was worth it since we use it for both running and walking. My only "small complaint" is that I wish it had a book holder attached. I don't work out without my iPad or a book/magazine and it was hard to find a book holder that would work with this machine. Otherwise, great purchase!"

"SO far the product and service have been great. Shipping slow but worth the wait. Can't beet the quality, value and warranty. no problems thus far. Had the machine 6 months. We use it for running (myself and I weigh 205lbs) and walking (3 other family members)."
