Good as Gold!

"The treadmill is wonderful! I am enrolled in a weight loss program and wanted to enhance and tone my body. This treadmill gives you the option of creating your own program or using one of the 16 included. In a few short months, I have gone from fast walking to running and find the equipment is well constructed. The instruments are easy to read and it even has a fan!! "

"I'm a walker, looking to do a bit of jogging. My husband is a runner, so we needed something that would work for all types of use. I knew I wanted a folding treadmill because we don't have a lot of extra space. So many out there have such awful reviews...they seem like a great deal, but fall apart within a month. This one had solid reviews, but I was hesitant to buy because I could not try it out in any stores. I tried out some of the top competitors in the stores. And while they seemed like they would have done the trick, I was attracted by the warranty, lower price and trial period offered by Smooth Fitness. We decided to take a chance and ordered this one. I've been using it now for 4 months and am overall very happy with it. It's pretty quiet, which was a must (I can jog on it while my son naps in his room nearby) and easy to do a quick-start. It folds up and down easily. It's a little awkward to move around, but once you get the hang of tilting it back, pretty easy to roll. My two complaints with it thus far are the heart rate grip sensors, which do not pick up anything close to an accurate reading and the fact that though it claims to be able to set up a fitness profile by weight, age, etc, the buttons to do so (according to the instruction booklet) are non-existent. If you're a serious runner, I'd spend the extra money for the better quality models. If you're like me and just looking to get yourself moving in the winter months, this will likely work for you."
