Love It!

"This is the third treadmill we've owned in approx. 25 years. When the last one died we bought the Reebok at Costco because it was on sale. What a nightmare! It took 4 hours to put together only to find out that it did not work when plugged in. They sent us a new control panel which we had to install. Thankfully my husband is familiar with electronics. This too did not work. They wanted to send us another one. We took the machine back to Costco after much effort to get it into the truck. I started googling and found the Smooth. I had never heard of them. It cost more than the Reebok but had great reviews. So we took a chance. I am so glad we did. It literally took minutes to put together. At first I was wondering where all the nuts and bolts and screws were as if they forgot to include them. It started right up and talk about smooth! It is the best treadmill I have ever walked on, including those I have used to use in fitness centers. I plug in my mp3 player and the speakers are fine. I love the way it comes down by itself. Wish it had help going up as well as it is heavy. But that is the only thing I would improve! It is well worth the price and I would buy it again without hesitation!"

Smooth Fitness Treadmill

"I am very pleased with my Smooth Fitness treadmill. I have been a pretty dedicated outside runner for many years, but was looking for something to use during the winter months or inclement weather. It is hard to bring two kids to the gym now so I was pleased to find this treadmill. I use it 4-5 times a week and run between 3-5 miles. I would recommend this product to a friend."

"Since I retired, my wife and I walk every day. With the cold, snowy winter weather coming we decided to get a treadmill. The 5.65 Treadmill is a DAMN GOOD machine. It was easy to assemble, we did it in 1/2 hour, user friendly features and the best warranty out there--- 4 years !!! We have had it for a little over 4 months and WE LOVE it. Everybody should get a Smooth Fitness!!! "

Best Treadmill for Price

"My old treadmill had finally died after many years of active use. I looked locally and throughout the internet for a new treadmill knowing I wanted a quality one which would take the punishment of 6 days a week of running use. I also kept in mind that I wanted a fair price too. After comparing the "apples to apples" of each treadmill both locally and on the internet, I decided to purchase the Smooth 5.65 Treadmill. My wife told me I was crazy because "YOU NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING BEFORE trying it out." I was sold on this one because of the reviews I read, the questions I asked the customer representative and the price. As it turned out, I did not make a mistake. My son and I put the treadmill together in less than a half hour. From that point, I immediately "broke in" the new treadmill. I can say with any hesitation, I loved it!! It was so smooth as compared to what I had used in the past. I felt like I was in a gym using one of those commercial machines. The buttons are easy to use as well as the programs provided. If I had any suggestions for Smooth Fitness to make with this particular treadmill, I would change two parts. I would have a pace button. I miss my old one from the other treadmill. I have to calculate in my mind my pace for each mile. The other change would be the display for running a lap. It looks too computerized. I like seeing red dots (circles) as I go around the round "track" vs. the red squares that go around a "track" that is not round. Regardless, this is a nice quality treadmill for the price!!! "
