"I've used virtually every type of elliptical machine on the market. I've had this CE 7.4 for over three years, and I truly think it is the best machine I've used. At 240 lbs, I tend to break cardio equipment routinely. This beast has withstood my twice a day workouts....when I did them. Even so, today it still works like a charm for my morning workout. My only critique is the limited number of presets. I wish it had an interface to upload new presets or to download my data. Regardless, it is the most well-built machine on the market. I'm on here today to re-print the Mets Rx data sheet--I spilled coffee on the original."

"I have now owned this machine for a year. Between finally eating right and using my elliptical I have lost more than 70 lbs. I feel great!! I love the elliptical because I don't feel like junk when I am done. I don't feel sore the next morning either. The exercise is comfortable and enjoyable. "Overall, I am very pleased with this elliptical. It is very stable and operates smoothly even at top speed. I am somewhat disappointed in the operation of the computer system. After using mine for over a month I am getting used to it, but it would be nice if it gave you an accurate heart rate instead of just a percentage of your maximum rate. We have users who range from 5'5" to 6'1" and the stride length seems to fit us all comfortably. The white glove service was DEFINITELY worth the extra money. Two delivery men had it set up and ready to go in about an hour."

"After about 1 month and 25-30 workouts on my Smooth 7.4, I am VERY pleased. I was hesitant in spending $2000, especially since I already owned and was unhappy with a Proform Elliptical- but the SMooth 7.4 did NOT disappoint. It stays in my bedroom where I workout and watch TV. It is so quiet, my 4 dogs can sleep on the rug while I exercise...............but best of all is the very consistent, smooth workout where I can work up quite a sweat for 30 minutes, and feel GREAT after, and look forward to working out the next day-THANK YOU,. Customer service was helpful in the ordering dept. BTW, I am 5'4"" and was concerned the 21" stride would be too great, but the machine fits me perfectly and I am glad I didn't downsize............. Finally, I made a great purchase without trying it out first !"
