The summer months are finally here and there is no better time to get outside and enjoy the weather! For many, Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of summer-time fun, so we have outlined some incredible Memorial Day events including 5ks, 10ks, Marathons, Fun Runs, and many more. There is something for everyone. Whether you have been training all winter on your treadmill or just want to take the family out for a great time, you can’t go wrong with any of these events.
These running events are taking place in major US cities across the country to honor those men and women who have fought for freedom in the name of the United States. Memorial Day is all about celebrating our fellow Americans, and there is no better way to do that than running through some of America’s greatest cities with fellow athletes, friends, and families.
5k, 10k, or marathon running events are a great way to get in shape and stay fit. There is nothing like getting outside and participating in a race to really get the blood pumping.
